ICT in the classroom

Earlier this century many classrooms were surrounded by boards. That is, not only occupied pride of place in front of the class, but also we occupied the side walls of the classroom. Why so many blackboards? The new times demanded a lot of work for teachers and higher student activity. So it was a fundamental tool, and allowed them engaged in practices accounts or dictated to many students at once, it was a very common practice, since in the sides of the classrooms could be located many guys to practice dictates, multiplications or divisions three figures. Whatever...

And there is still, still enjoys good health. Does the technology can move? We think not. are still Formica blackboards, chalks to get some rest and to work Downs. There have lying around others that allow paper copy of what has been written about them.

¿Digital chalks? Are waxed glass? Who knows. Over there we go. What is irreplaceable is who writes about them. Here students can not miss. And ... for more than a technologist wants to replace them, can not miss the teachers. Of these, 0 for them and for them is all the work. The slates are mute witnesses what they do. They have no words or ideas. They are the center of their universe. They are. For more chips and liquid crystal displays to install. The most important thing will remain the color of your dreams on any of the boards. And those dreams shine both on a blackboard peeling as on a monitor next generation.

  1. Evelyn your topic very interesting, and I think that in the XXI century importantye Technology plays a role in the teaching-learning process. Importantly, it is a push for autonomy in education and training and means, in many cases, a new social space of interaction and learning (interactive blogs or spaces). These allow the didactic design oriented collaboration among participants, self-learning or distance learning and are also a fun way to cognitive development activities.
